This is a very nice dress. It's a good fit and flatters in all the right places and it's easy to dress it up or down depending on accessories. It sits on the shoulders and nips in at the waist. There's a weird underskirt inside which I cut out (the fabric of the overall dress is light but it isn't seethrough so not sure why it's there), but otherwise it's wearable out the bag and very comfortable on. I bought it because during the summer I wear a lot of maxi dresses but it's hard finding nice ones with that gothic touch (I don't quite feel like me in a floral affair) and this really fits the bill. I can wear it in the day with sandals and a wide belt or in the evening with a basque and my giant boots. Good stuff.

I’m really sad to review this poorly as I’ve recently bought a fair few skirts from this brand which are absolutely perfect; great material perfect sizing etc. But I have to warn you not to purchase this dress if you even a moderate pair of boobs, the design looked like it would have a decent amount to give in the chest especially with the tie front and I am not exactly overly blessed in the chest department but unfortunately it is very /very/ tight at the chest with double layered non stretchy material that even with a good bra on means my boobs are squished completely flat. I had even gone a size up as I was hoping for a very loose floaty vibe anyways but with the tightness at the chest I think for it to even have a chance of fitting my boobs I’d have to go up another 2 sizes at minimum and at that point the elasticated waste would just sag off me. In any case I highly recommend the skirts they sell but sadly gonna have to give these beautiful dresses a miss
