This is a womens necklace in white color. It looks like pearl and stated to be pearl on the listing header but actually it is not genuine pearl. It is most probably made of another material. Feels cheap and not suitable to be a very good gift to me. Note that this is a Vine review for the item sent for free to review. This is great looking costume jewellery, and very pretty. I chose the hot pink, which is a lovely contrast of vibrant pink and classic ivory pearl colours. It's a fun piece, and looks good around my neck. I'll be wearing it to the next party, and I've already been complimented on it. There's good value for money here, considering the effect it creates for the price. I do feel obliged to remove one star over the language of the listing though. It's written in such a way as to create an impression that you are purchasing genuine pearls. You aren't. These are plastic beads, and real pearls would obviously cost more. I own real pearls and I know the difference. Also, the total length of beads is 40cm, with the total chain length 50cm. So it's shorter than the advertised 52cm. In conclusion, this is an attractive and good looking string of faux pearls. I little more accuracy and little less of the purple prose would have resulted in a higher rating.

I am reviewing “Chunky Pearl Necklaces Statement Pearl Choker Necklaces for Women with Small Pendant Handmade Costume Jewellery Gifts”, priced £16.99 at time of ordering. This necklace looks really nice and I love the purple colour, but the initial problem is that mine is quite a lot shorter than advertised. At the time of writing, one of images used as part of this listing states the length is 45-52cm, but mine is only 42-49cm. The same photo admits this necklace is “faux pearl” but the written listing simply refers to “pearl” and the description of “carefully selected high-quality pearls, enhanced by exquisite wet polishing techniques to ensure overall texture. This guarantees the luster, quality, color, and purity of the pearls” feels designed to encourage a belief that they are genuine. The imitation pearls I have received have various imperfections that look like small air bubbles in the coating and quite a few scratches, so I would not describe them as high-quality. The listing states the necklace is “lead-free, cadmium-free, and nickel-free” which is reassuring since the metal used is not named. I really like the look of this necklace, but it isn’t as long as stated and the quality isn’t quite what I expected from the description.

I really liked this necklace which is not quite a choker but is quite a short necklace. It's easy to fasten with a nice big fastener. It is quite heavy as you would expect from a necklace with so many beads (or pearls). The pearls are a lovely hot pink interspersed with traditional coloured pearls, some big, some small. Just a nice, piece of costume jewellery with nothing to dislike about it.
