This is a lovely, stylish pair of little stud earrings that can be worn at any time, with any outfit, and not look out of place. The four-prong silver setting helps enhance the appearance and sparkle of the Cubic Zirconia. The presentation of the earrings is excellent - they were in a sealed bag inside a lovely gift box which also included a small cleaning cloth, a velvety pad for displaying the earrings, and a gift card that can be personalised. They would make a great gift for anyone, of any gender, who wears stud earrings. The price was £10.99 at the time of ordering which, with the presentation box and gift card included, is a bargain. (In case the recipient mentions it - the spelling of ‘jewellery’ on the box is not wrong, it’s just not the British spelling.) Note: I do have an issue with the item description which includes this statement, “These round stud earrings feature a singular solitaire diamond.”. They do NOT feature a solitaire diamond – they feature a Cubic Zirconia (CZ), which is a synthetic and mass-produced, man-made faux diamond. And, although this should be obvious to everyone from the price, the Seller should nevertheless amend the item description!

These round Cubic Zirconia stud earrings have an elegant look. They are sparkly and set in silver. The butterflies to keep them in place are plastic but seem to work fine. Not sure if they would be as durable as their silver or gold counterparts, but they are easy to use. Even though they are approximately 8mm in diameter they are quite light and comfy to wear. They are set in four clasps making the stone seem secure. The stone is flat on the top but looks multi faceted and bright. The part that goes through your ear is about 11mm long which seems quite long but not much longer than other earrings I have. The clasp plate to the stone is about 6mm deep. They could be paired with any outfit and worn for casual or more formal occasions. They came in a pale blue box with writing inside a flower motif. The words and spellings on the box say ‘Fashion accessories JEWELRY BEST WISHES FROM MY HEART’ (The American spelling rather than the English spelling of ‘jewellery’.). Inside the box is a small ‘Best Wishes’ card which would be nice to use if it was for a gift. A lovey idea to fit this in the box. The box is quite sizeable given the size of the studs, approximately 75 mmx75mmx38mm when closed. Overall a lovely and classic pair of earrings and a lovely gift. I have noticed the ones I was sent are a simple large stone like anothers reviewers photo as opposed to a stone with a secondary stone surround.

The ear studs I received are 8mm CZ stones set in a simple basket setting, and these are substantially different to the ones on the current listing which feature a circle of small stones around a larger central stone. With that aside, when I opened the package and inspected the studs I was disappointed to see that neither ear wire was soldered onto the basket setting squarely, and had to be bent back into shape. Holding the stud with the ear wire pointing down and the stone and the top, it was clear to see that on each stud the stone was set nowhere near level. The indentations in the claws for holding the stone have not been cut uniformly, and as such when the claws are tightened over the stone it forces the stone at an angle. Sadly, these defects are visible when the studs are worn, and as such I can't recommend them. This is a shame because I do like the simplicity of a silver basket setting with large CZ, as they catch the light so beautifully.

Great little earrings that have a real sparkle to them when caught in the right light. The use of sterling silver should mean no irritation or discomfort. I think they look far more expensive than they really are. Great for a night out and dressed up.

Very nicely made for the price and the stones are clear and crisp and catch the light nicely. The silver is similarly clean and of good quality. Presentation is good, with a little box and cloth, and they stay in place well and are light and comfortable. Good value for the quality you get!
